Show Variable Viewer - Matlab-> Simulink -> Simscape

9 views (last 30 days)
Dear,
I would like to open the variable viewer in matlab simscape. I am using matlab 2019b on a Macbook Pro. The steps defined on the help page to open the vaiable viewer do not seem up to date with the 2019b version. The steps to open the variable viewer in the old versions of matlab can be found here; https://uk.mathworks.com/help/physmod/simscape/ug/variable-viewer.html#bvfq6bm-1 In this link the following steps are suggested 'open the Variable Viewer, in the model window, on the Debug tab, click Diagnostics > Simscape > Variable Viewer." After clicking in the diagnostics button 2 other options are available, no variable viewer can be found.
Could somewone help me find this?
Best regards,
Amaury

Hi i got the same problem and looking for help, I am bumping up your question.
Edit:
To open the Variable Viewer, in the model window, on the Apps tab, under Physical Modeling, click Simscape Variable Viewer.

In 2019b, the location is under the "APPS" tab on the toolstrip, then look for the "Physical Modeling" section and click on "Simscape Variable Viewer". I think that the documentation you're looking at may be for a newer release.
