Hello, I want to simulate traffic between a multiple antenna base station and a single antenna user for mm-wave frequency of 28GHz. What is the most suitable channel model for such high frequency and what kind of beamforming would you suggest?

Hello, I want to simulate traffic between a multiple antenna base station and a single antenna user for mm-wave frequency of 28GHz. What is the most suitable channel model for such high frequency for both LOS and NLOS? Moreover what kind of beamforming algorithm would you suggest me to use in order to increase the SNR for the downlink?
Thank you

Hi
The suitable channel models for mm-wave frequency of 28 GHz are nrTDLChannel and nrCDLChannel that followed the aspects of TR 38.901. Also, refer the link for 5G channel models. Explore hybrid beamforming for 5G systems from here.

hi! thanks to your comment.
Do you know that if I want to achieve 28GHz mmwave transmission? Should I sent parameter 'CarrierFrequency' in nrOFDMModulate function to 28*10^9?
thanks you so much!
