We are exploring simulink capabilities for ISO compliant development. One of the requirements we have is to enforce the naming conventions (MAAB- na_0035: Adoption of naming conventions). Is there a way we can add this as custom checks?

na_0035: Adoption of naming conventions is not a checkable guideline. This is more of a general best practice to state that you should have naming conventions, but the guideline doesn’t specify what the naming conventions should be.
For ISO 26262 applications, I would recommend the naming guidelines from the High Integrity System modeling guidelines.
These guidelines are checkable and reference ISO 26262-6 Table 1 (1h) ‘Use of naming conventions’. The Model Advisor checks for these guideline do have input parameters to allow users to customize them.
