Hello,
I have several partial differential equations in the form of
Is it possible to solve these equations in Matlab with the pdepe solver? If yes, is it possible to combine these equations with odes?
Or does it make more sense to discretize my equations in space and solve the ordinary differential equations? (MoL)
Thanks in advance,
Julian

Thanks a lot, I will take a look at it. At my first glance it looks like thats the solver I was looking for.
Do you have any experience with this solver if I may have questions in the future?

Hallo together,
could someone please explain, why this equation should be hyperbolic? Isn't it elliptical?
Thanks a lot

Hello JulianK,
‘pdepe’ is used to solve system of parabolic and elliptic PDEs with one temporal and one spatial variable (Make sure that your system follow that).
I woild suggest that refer following documentation for understanding how to use ‘pdepe’:
For solving the the system of PDEs, refer following documentation:
Above documentation will give you idea about how to use PDE toolbox
