File disappeared from the current working matlab folder

Hi there

I was testing a matlab function in the current working folder (not a matlab program folder) and suddenly the file was gone. Only earlier versions (about three hours earlier) were there. I looked in all the computer, virtually everywhere, nothing. The only version available was the 18:00 hours version. The new version (same file name ) was saved at about 21:00 hours and run Ok, but that version is missing. Like matlab went back in time.

I have this same issue today.
