Hi all,
why do I get an error in the Matlab R2012b GUI pushbutton reset? even though I used the correct code.

MATLAB is case sensitive. Try 'String' with a capital S.
Or else you don't have a field called edit1 or don't have a handles structure anymore. Set a breakpoint there to see if handles has any values in it at all.
