Hello,
I am currently doing some stuff using GUIDE. On the main window I have created an uitable. The data of the table is used by some functions. But now I need the space on the main window and actually dont want to see the Table all the time. Is it possible, that the implemented functions still use and change the uitable data, without the table shown on the mainwindow and when I click a button, I will get the actual version of the uitable in a new figure-window?
I tried somethin like this, when I click on a button:
fig = figure;
uit = handles.uitable1;
uit(fig);
Thanks a lot!

You can keep the UI table on the main GUI window and toggle its visibility using the "Visible" property. When the UI table is not visible, it's properties (and therefore it's data) are still accessible from within the GUI.
handles.uitable1.Visible = 'off'; % or 'on'
To copy the UI table to a new figure,
newFig = figure();
copyobj(handles.uitable1, newFig);
