Is there a way to import an Octave package into Matlab? For compatibility there are some m files our team has created and wanted to verify using the Octave package in MATLAB.

I don't know if this is still a running issue, but I don't know if there is an easy way. You need to make sure the syntax is compatible with Matlab, which isn't a requirement for the forge. Other than that, there shouldn't be any issues copying all m files to a folder on the Matlab path.
What I do myself is just to write a tester function. If it runs, it runs.

Hi,
There are various ways you can load mat file into octave and vice versa. There are following links which has discussed about the same.
Hope it helps you.

That is not an answer to the question as I understand it. The OP asked about packages (collections of .m files with metadata), not about data (.mat files).
