I cannot open my simulink file after adding tags to it. I think the problem is using the File Meta Association Manager to create Tag property for .slx file. I also cannot delete the tags now. Can someone tell me how to recover this simulink file please?

If you can open it, could you save it as a different name and attach it here please. I wanna try and see if I still have the same problem. Thank you very much.

I do not appear to have the comhdlio library installed in any release, so I am having difficulty tracking it down. I am also having difficulty finding a source for the model that might document requirements.

This issue could be related to the file structure while saving which may be getting corrupted. This has been reported as a bug for this release.
Possible workarounds:
(1) Copy and paste entire contents of the main model from the old one to a new one and save that as SLX format.
(2) Save the original file in MDL format first, using "Save As" and re-save in SLX format. Although this is a convoluted method, re-saving the final SLX format as SLX again does not lead to the error later.

Hi Munish,
Thank you for the advice. I still get a little bit confused here. Since I cannot open the model, how can I copy the entire contents or save it in MDL format?

If you can post the link to the complete project, I might be able to do the conversion, as it opens for me.
