Need help plotting a function in matlab

Hi friends, I'm struggling to make a code for above problem. I would appreciate your help.

x = -10:0.05:10;
fun_x_1 = exp(-0.3*x(x<0));
fun_x_2 = sin(x(x>=0).^3)-sin(x(x>=0).^2)+1;
plot(x(x<0),fun_x_1,x(x>=0),fun_x_2)

why you put .^2 inside fun_x_2 function? does it suppose to be fun_x_2 = sin(x(x>=0).^3)-sin(x(x>=0))+1? btw, thank you very much for your answer i really appreciate it
