Multimodel control design with Simulink?

Hi!
I have been using the Control System Designer and its multimodel analysis quite a while. The workflow is very straightforward: just make a variable a stack of transfer functions before assigning it to a control block, done.
For a new project I had to move to Simulink as I needed a more complex control architecture than available in the Matlab version of Control System Designer ("sisotool"). It worked, however, I'm not able to implement the same simple multimodel analysis.
In Control System Designer started from Simulink I only get working models when I have as many compensators as multiplexed transfer functions or ss-dimensions. But what I want is to graphically tune a single compensator, just as in the Matlab version.
How must the model be implemented to achieve this?
Help is much appreciated, please let me know if you need further information or clarification.
Thanks!
