Presuming this isn't homework assignment; why not just use the Statistics Toolbox chi2gof function?
What I guessed...the crystal ball is on a roll! :)
So, "we don't do homework" -- instead we'll gladly provide hints and answer specific Matlab questions, but you've got to show us your effort to solve the problem first and make questions on specific trouble spots, not "DOIT4ME!"

Yes,guys thanks I tried doing is using matrices creating the tables using matrices. Mostly stuck on how to make the chi squared function taking two inputs, I know how to make the formula that's not a problen
What, specifically, is the issue with creating a function with two (or one or any particular number) of dummy arguments? The doc for function shows syntax of you can open any m-file in the editor and see how Mathworks writes code (albeit they do a lot of input checking, etc., but the basic syntax is all the same if not using varargin
