what function can be used to divide matrixes with n length

Please given x = 1 2 3 4 5...... x.length

and y = 1 2 3 4 5...... y.length

Please how do I get the code to get M

assuming M = 1/1 2/2 3/3 4/4 5/5........

The must both be the same length, and ideally the same row and column sizes.

M = x ./ y

Note the ‘./’ denoting element-wise division.
