Find the equations of two tangent lines at x=1 and x=2.
X3+2x2+1. How can I solve it in matlab Thanks

y(x) = k(x-x0) + y0; % equation of a tangent line
% k=dy/dx - tangent of an angle
% [x0, y0] - coordinates of a point
As you can see you have all data to build your line except k. You can calculate it numerically (using diff() for example) or analytically (differentiate your function k = f'(x))
