how to obtain sub-pixel accuracy

Hi everybody

I have developed a code to find the coordinate of a single pixel on my object by using several image processing algorithms. I am wondering if is there a way to find subpixel coordinate as a method to improve the accuracy?

A general meaningful answer is not possible with this question. The true answer is that it depends. If you can fit a function to your data and that function allows you to pinpoint a location, then that might work. If not, your stuck with your resolution.
