Hi,
I am using the seqlogo function to generate quite many figures of peptides sequences. To better identify the order of the pictures, i would like to add some text to each generated figures. However, the seqlogo function doesn't accept any 'legend','annimation'....
Is ther any way can add some text to the figures generated by seqlogo? Thanks
seqlogo(sequences, 'Alphabet','AA','SSCorrection',0, 'ALPHABET', 'AA')

Hi Walter,
Thanks for the reply.
following the seqlogo function to generate a figure window of my plot, text() and legend() will open another new figure window and put the text to the new window. I also tried to put the handle of the figure, but it will give a error. How can i force the text() and legend() function to put text a specific logo window?
Thanks

When I look this time, I see that the figure that seqlogo() creates has a toolbar (normal) and has a JavaWrapper. so there is no axes to draw on.
My tests with annotation() do not show up.
You could try adding an axes to the figure, with InnerPosition [0 0 1 1] and draw inside that. At the moment I do not know if it will work -- really that is what annotation() does and if annotation() does not show up... Yup, confirmed that it will not show up :(
