Is there any way to correct the stage drifting problem in a movie?

iSMS is a software package for fluorescence imaging. It has XY drift correction that works reasonably well and is decently fast. It runs in matlab.

"A Free Matlab Script for Spatial Drift Correction" explains the code at https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/45453-drifty_shifty_deluxe-m.
This is the answer, as far as I know.
