Hi everybody. I am relatively new to matlab and I have a 3D plot, or more accurate, a 4D plot when the 4th dimention appears as the color. my plot contains information from different patients and what I want to do with it is this:
  1. divide the 3D area to bins
  2. calculate the average value of all the points in each been (across patients). this average is to be applies to the forth dimention.
this is a part of my plot (cant share it all)

Hi,
You can use the histcounts and to use the accumarray over the bin values to divide the data into 3D bins.
Hope this helps!
