insert data into script

Hello everryone
I have a matlab code for project scheduling which takes input as given below.Can anyone help me how can i specify the mentioned inputs in a matlab script for my scheduling problem.
n = single(RCPSP.n);% Number of activities
d = single(RCPSP.d);% Processing time of each activity
K = single(RCPSP.K);% Maximum amount of stock for each resource
r = RCPSP.r; % Consumption of resources of each task
N = single(RCPSP.N);% Precedence Constraints

You could:
  1. get your user to input them,
  2. import data from a file,
  3. hardcode the values,

2.import data from file.but cant understand how to do it?..need help
sscanf(fgetl(fid),'%f')
Can't understand how to implement this function to my problem

Thanks the sample file containing nunber of activities ,Processing time of each activity, Maximum amount of stock for each resource, Consumption of resources of each task and Precedence Constraints is attached ..Waiting for your respponse
Is the number of resources always 4 ?
