daqread function is deprecated

My Matlab R2018a can't read daq,it said the function is deprecated.

I find no release notes mentioning daqread() at all, and it continues to be documented in r2018b. Are you certain that you have the correct function name?

Starting from MATLAB version R2016a, the Data Acquisition Toolbox no longer supports Legacy Interface based commands. The current toolbox uses a Session Interface to communicate with data acquisition devices. Since daqread is a Legacy Interface command, its functionality is no longer supported in newer versions of MATLAB. The link below has more information on how to convert Legacy Interface to Session Interface code.

True but irrelevant. daqread() is basic MATLAB
and has to do with reading stored .daq files, no matter how they were created.
