I am trying to model a PV stsem connected to the grid and use PWM generator to synchronize the inverter output with the voltage condition on grid.
I figure I need to use Three phase PWM Generator with V from Grid and PV as input.
What I do not understand is how to choose between 2 or 3 level PWM generator. Anyone could give brief eplanation please?

The PWM Generator (3-Level) block generates pulses for carrier-based pulse-width modulation (PWM) converters using three-level topology. Where as the PWM Generator (2-Level) block generates pulses for carrier-based pulse width modulation (PWM) converters using two-level topology.
