what are the inputs of extended Kalman filter?

Could I connect my states in simulink dirrectly to the extended Kalman filter? or I need to write function in m file?

I don't understand the question. States is normally internal to your system. You need to specify your system with states, but normally those are not the input. Could you clarify your question?
