Issue to Launch Matlab on VPN

I am working under mac

I have issue to launch my matlab when I am connected in VPN. No problem when I am connected on ethernet.

I don't receive the message concerning the licence error 96 instead I see only the image Matlab and and the multicolor circle.

The other website which need VPN connecion works.

I have the Matlab 2018b ,but this issue happens also with other Matlab's version.

Sounds like aa potential issue in waiting for a license. What kind if license are you using ?

It s a shared network licence

Any luck? I'm experiencing the same problem.

Mac version of MATLAB R2019b freezes after the window shows up only when connecting to the license server over VPN.

Somehow you are not able to connect to the license manager fully. That might be because by default part of the connection is on a dynamic port. See https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/96756-what-ports-does-the-matlab-license-manager-use-and-how-can-i-set-those-ports
