How do I create equations in MS Word using Report explore app?

Currently I am using Matlab to write MS word using the report generator app. I created word template which includes block holes. I wonder if I can insert mathematical equations.

Starting R2017b, you can use the mlreportgen.report.Equation reporter to programmatically insert equations in your Report API reports.
