I want to know whether the Microsoft Access databases are not recognized by MATLAB R 2015b? I ran the Access database with MATLAB R 2009 and it worked well. What I have to do if I want to run the Access database with R 2015b.

You can install many releases; all you need to do is to create a unique installation location -- I just simply name the root directory MLR2017, say (to date I've not installed anything but 'b' releases so haven't bothered at that sublevel). I have three releases installed and working presently with no issues.

To clear up any further ambiguity: those unique installation folders don't have to be on the same drive. You might have issues installing to removable drives, but I never tested that.

Hi,
one problem might be the version you have: could it be that your R2009a was 32 Bit whereas your R2015b is 64Bit? In this case it could be problematic to access the 32 Bit MS Access DB.
