How do you want to combine your data to form the x axis of the plot, and how do you want to combine your data to form the y axis of the plot? Or do you want to ignore the W and Z and just scatter your X and Y ?
Is the data arranged as four columns of a 2D array, or is a 4D array? If it is a 4D array, are there "marginals" that tell you how each of the indices map into the value appropriate for that dimension?

You could have the fourth dimension be some parameter like color of size of the markers. Or it could be time where you make a movie of the scatterplots as you change one of the dimensions as a function of time (3-D demo attached - adapt it for 4-D).
Look for other ways here: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=visualizing+higher+dimensions
