problem with projection of shapefiles in MATLAB Mapping toolbox

Hi,

I have a georeferenced shapefile (created in ArcMap) of a watershed in WGS84 projection system. I also have latitudes longitudes of raingauge information located in the watershed. But when I invoke geoshow command for the watershed and the raingauge shapefiles some of the raingauge falls outside the watershed. MATLAB unfortunately shift the watershed boundary to right. I also tried shaperead with 'útm'projection system but the error remains. Could anyone please suggest how to get exact map?
