How to model a data acquisition system

3 views (last 30 days)
Goodmorning everyone
Do you know if is it possible to model, with Simulink, a data acquisition system and, in particular, the transducer? I've got as input an acceleration.
Thank you very much Riccardo Privitera

Hi Riccardo. I am assuming that you are looking to acquire the date and analyze that in Simulink. Please follow this link to get an overview: https://www.mathworks.com/videos/data-driven-control-data-acquisition-70898.html. You can also go to this link to check the Simulink models: https://www.mathworks.com/help/daq/simulink-data-acquisition.html
Let me know if you are expecting something else.
Thanks, Veer

I realized a model of an acceleration sled with simulink, and now i'd like to model the computer, that can acquire the acceleration data. so i'd like to model a tranducer, that allows me to convert the acceleration in volt, and then an AC/DC converter and finally my computer.

Hi Riccardo. It seems you want to make your own sensor model in Simulink. I would recommend you to find the transfer function of your sensor and using transfer function block in Simulink you can easily model a transducer. You can also check few sensor in Simscape on this link: https://www.mathworks.com/help/physmod/elec/sensors.html
