Could anyone help me with the code for the following logic if P=12 then Q=1,(Q needs to take 1 number from P,remaining numbers are 11) Q=2,(Q needs to take 2 number from P,remaining numbers are 9) Q=3,(Q needs to take 3 number from P,remaining numbers are 6) Q=4,(Q needs to take 4 number from P,remaining numbers are 2) but when Q=5(Q needs to take 5 number from P but the remaining numbers in P are only 2) Again Q needs to be 1 form beginning ,then followed by Q=2,if Q cannot take 2 numbers then Q needs to take the last number from P.Could anyone help me on this.

Is P a scalar (12) that decreases or is it a vector with a certain number of values (P(12))?

P is a vector which has the values from 1 to 12.
