AppDesigner Standalone Desktop App

Hello everyone,

I'm using AppDesigner in Matlab 2018a to build my GUI but after some time I realized that my 'Standalone Desktop App'(to create an executable file without using MATLAB itself) option is not active in the 'Share' Tab. Can you help me to activate this option? Do I need to install additional packages?

What is the share tab do you mean?

Hello, 'Share' is the name of the tab which includes packaging options of MATLAB applications. I solved my problem by adding "MATLAB Compiler" toolbox(It is called an "Application Compiler" in older versions) to my license.

@Thomas Fournier You need Matlab Compiler Toolbox to be installed to compile your applications.
