Regrettably, information about docker use is sparse.
I recommend that you open a Technical Support case on this, and that as part of that case you tell them they need better documentation of Docker and AWS and related possibilities. You can refer to my case 03051295.
I speculate that the answer to your question is Yes, it can. My understanding is that using MDCS requires that you use a Mathworks Hosted License Manager (MHLM), which requires that Named User Licenses be specially activated against the user accounts. But this is also the circumstance that is required for people to use AWS, so I suspect it would work out.
