Why am I getting "Internal Error. Failed assertion" ?

INTERNAL ERROR. Failed assertion in b:\matlab\toolbox\stateflow\src\sf_runtime\debugger\sfdb_handle_management.cpp at line 894: len >= (size_t) objectProperties->size Component: Simulink | Category: Block error
Has anybody seen this error before? I am getting this error when I run the simulation on my model. I have noticed that the specified path: \src\sf_runtime\debugger\ doesn't exist under my matlab respository. I am using R2014b (8.4.0) 64bits
Any suggestions?
