how to convert a video into frames

chandana - please provide some context. What is the format of your video file? Are you able to load it into MATLAB? How many frames do you wish to save? All or some of them?

its in mpeg format. yes hv used videoreader to load it in matlab. i want to extract all frames first. aftr tht i will choose some deleting some

chandana - please look at the xylophone.mp4 example from https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/videoreader.html which describes the readFrame method being used to read each frame of the video.
