How to create a protected Simulink model with SimScape and standard Simulink signals?

Hi,
I'm searching for a method in order to protect the Intellectual Property as in: https://it.mathworks.com/videos/protecting-intellectual-property-in-subsystems-68860.html
The problem is that it does not work for SimScape inputs/outputs as already discussed in : https://it.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/72780-what-does-error-the-selected-subsystem-exposes-simscape-connection-ports-which-model-reference-do
However, the some models (e.g. "Synchronous Machine SI Fundamental") present both kind of connections inside (both SimScape and standard Simulink connection).
I need to create a model like that one and I was wondering if that is possible.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I am facing the same issue trying to protect a Simulink model that includes SimPowerSystems elements. Were you able to find a solution?
Thanks,
