How do I code this? I keep getting errors in my function.

I have to have this code completed and I have only been exposed to taxes on matlab so I am looking for help I do not have time to teach myself the program before this homework’s due date

Well, the purpose of homework is to test your ability at solving the problem, not somebody's else ability, and to demonstrate that you have learned the course. If you're not willing to learn, it's only fair that you fail.
