Try this wherever you want to report the number of rows:

message = sprintf('The number of rows = %d.\n', size(yourData));
fprintf('%s', message);
uiwait(helpdlg(message));

Ok.But I want to use the number of rows in the for loop. For example if i am having 5 matrixes of different size (2,3),(3,4),(4,5),(6,7),(8,4) and i need to use the number of rows for each matrix in for loop.

for j=1:no of rows % should change with respect to matrices

end
