MATLAB Editor bounce left when scrolling

I have this weird problem since changing to either R2017b. I wonder how can I solve this because it is getting really annoying now

I have the opposite problem -- when scrolling long lines such as long symbolic formula, R2017b is very prone to suddenly jump to further right after a point, making it very difficult to read the middle part. El Capitan.
@WalterRoberson I checked with R2016b, and this problem does not happen. I guess it is a bug in R2017b
Ah, I just realized I was talking about the command window, not the editor.
Can you give more details on what you mean by "bounce"? Is this related to what you are describing? https://www.mathworks.com/support/bugreports/1565163
@bendrebing my apologies for the late respond. I am referring to the case when you're scrolling the code, the page will suddenly bounce to the left, hiding the first few letter of the code horizontally. it is quite annoying as you need to constantly scroll right when this happens.
I have the same issue. It started when I upgraded to a new MacBook Pro 13" running High Sierra in January. My Matlab version is 9.3.0.713579 (R2017b). It seems to be related to the new trackpad on the Mac. I've played with the sensitivity but have not been able to improve the "bounce to the left" issue.

The following is a stopgap solution to the editor bouncing bug (Mac OSX, R2017b). My editor's preference for the number of fixed-width columns is 76 and my editor window is slightly larger so that I can see about 80 columns. Now, by stretching the editor window to 120 columns the editor doesn't bounce anymore. But the editor covers most of my display, hiding other windows.
