global optimization toolbox?

i am using global optiomization toolbox? so when i write a code, where is it neede to be saved? can i save it in any folder or i have to save it in the folder where my matlab files are stored? and also "simple_fitness.m ships with Global Optimization Toolbox software" and "simple_constraint.m ships with Global Optimization Toolbox software" what does it mean?
