Connecting to xPC Target using Simulink Real-Time R2017b

Hi I'm currently trying to port a project from an old Matlab/Simulink version to R2017b. The host PC connects to target PC when I use the 2010 as well as the 2013 version of SRT. But If I create a boot CD with the exact same settings as for the other versions in 2017b, I can't connect to the target PC anymore. I can't even ping the IP of the target PC using CMD (This was possible when I booted the target with 2010 or 2013). Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong?

Hi Jan,
Can you check if the version of SLRT found using ver('slrt') is same as the one showed on target screen?

You should connect your target to a monitor. I suspect that the kernel is not booting correctly, which is preventing you from being able to ping successfully. If there is an error message on the target, that will help to debug this.

Hello Jon,
I am also having the same issue even though the XPC boot properly and shows no errors on the screen. Is there any known issues on some Ethernet cards? I am using a PCI card (Intel 8255X) and I a made sure that the built-in Ethernet port is disabled in BIOS.
