Curve fit to a 3D Sinsudal parametric equation

3 views (last 30 days)
Hi all, I have been searching for an answer to this for a bit now, and couldnt find anything to help me. I have data for my sinsudal equation, and would like to find its equation in parametric form with MatLab. Keep in mind that the equation creates a curve and not a surface. The picture included shows my data in comparison to the graph of: x = t; y = sin(t); z = 0*t; Thanks a lot.

If you have the Curve Fitting Toolbox, you could try that...or have a look into this file:

How can use the Curve fitting toolbox? I don't think the link you sent me will work.
