matlab2016​bの再アクティベーシ​ョン方法について

以前使用していたmatlab2016bの起動を試みたところ、毎度matlab Starter Applicationが立ち上がりmatlabが起動できません。 アクティベーションの際にはアプリケーションのフォルダに格納されているライセンスファイルを指定しております。このときにはアクティベーションが完了したとの表記が表示されますが、そのままmatlabは起動せず、matlabの実行を試みるたびにmatlab Starter Applicationが起動されアクティベーションができていないようです。

アクティベーションを再度完了するためにはどうしたらよいのでしょうか。 状況としてはライセンスの期限は今年の8月に切れております。 個人的にはライセンスが切れてもアプリケーションの更新ができないだけとの認識ですが、ライセンス期限が切れた場合にはアプリケーションの起動はできないのでしょうか。

MATLAB の起動時にアクティベーションが繰り返し表示される現象の 多くの原因は、該当マシンに作成された MATLAB のライセンス ファイルにより発生します。

ご利用のライセンスの利用条件（Term）が永久（Perpetual）ライセンスの場合、 サービス期限が過ぎていても引き続きご利用いただけますが、 利用条件が年間（Annual）ライセンスの場合、期限を延長しなければ、ご利用いただけません。

お客様お持ちのライセンスの利用条件（Term）をご確認いただくには、 お客様のライセンスセンター（ https://www.mathworks.com/licensecenter/ ）へログインいただき、ライセンス番号右側に表示される Term: にて利用条件をご確認いただけます。 また、ライセンスのサービス期限については、 ライセンス番号下の 「Manage Products」 タブ内のの Service End Date にてご確認いただけます。
