I am trying to test a QPSK transceiver. What do "D1" and "inf" mean in the QPSK transmitter and receiver in the figures on the web page https://www.mathworks.com/help/comm/examples/qpsk-transmitter-and-receiver-1.html

These are labels given to the sample times in the model, when you enable sample time display.
  • D1 refers to the first (fastest) discrete sample time in the model.
  • Inf refers to a constant sample time; in other words, the signal does not change unless you modify its constant value during runtime.
