Web Browser won't load

I have .m file scripts creating a .html file which I then try to display using: web('foo.html');
This will bring up the browser window but 'foo.html' won't load. With the browser open, I go to file and manually try to open 'foo.html'. I click open from the file dialog but still will not load. No error messages are displayed.
Sometimes, but not all, a re-launch of Matlab will correct the problem.

Is the HTML file still open in Matlab? Did you close the file by fclose?
Can you open the file in an editor?

Hi Jan, Yes, the file is closed, via fclose(htmlfid),just prior to issuing the web('foo.html') command. I even inserted a 3sec pause between the 2 commands to see if that affected the file load. It did not.
I can open/view the file in a ascii editor and can view the html using Windows IE (but the links are inactive because designed to executed within Matlab's engine/workspace.
Regards, Al
