How to plot a globe mesh with data located on it

Hello, I want to plot a globe mesh like this image:

with data points distributed over the longitudes and latitudes (I have the locations). How I do I do that please? Thank you

What exactly are "data points" and in which format do you have the data? It is not efficient if we invent a data format, which does not equal the original data.

I have 2 columns in an Excel sheet, one for latitudes and the other for longitudes. They're coordinates (just numbers), positive for north and east, and negative for south and west.
