Can I still use my MATLAB and Simulink software even if I do not resubscribe to the software maintenance plan?

Funding at NASA is very tight right now, and it is becoming more difficult each year to renew the software maintenance plan. If I don't renew my maintenance plan, can I still use the versions of MATLAB, Simulink, and Control Toolbox that I am currently using. I understand there will be no updates without renewing the maintenance.

Yes, you should be able to use the latest release as of the time your maint expires (or any earlier version.)
Note: you may have difficulty accessing documentation related to previous releases, or documentation about products not covered by your license as of the time of expiry.
