why do i not have simulink property inspector

Every tutorial I get tells me to go to view -> Property Inspector. However I do not have that option on my view tab.
ctrl+shift+I does not work either. I believe I have all the licenses needed.

The property inspector was introduced in R2016b release of MATLAB. The documentation examples you are following are probably from the latest releases of MATLAB.
For the examples you are following, wherever it says to look at the property inspector for a specific block, just double click on the block instead and you will be able to see the block parameters.

That works for editing different parameters, but how would I access properties of these blocks (for example, all the callback functions and other properties such as 'OutputSignalNames' and 'InputSignalNames')
