running .dll in Simulink

I am trying to run .dll files in the Simulink environment. I understand that I have to use the S-Function builder to generate a C-Mex file and then use a S-Function block to implement the C-Mex code. Which files do I use in the S-Function Builder Libraries ? I have the following files 1) .dll 2).exp 3).lib ?
