SimMechanics Link works only for assemblies not parts. If you wanted to export individual parts like this one, save it as an STL or a STEP file and then import it manually in a body block. Documentation for body block here.

Where are you looking for the option to convert your SolidWorks assembly into an XML file? Are you looking at File -> Save As or the dedicated SimMechanics Link menu? It should look like this.

IF you are NOT seeing this menu item in SolidWorks, execute the smlink_linksw command to link the 2 softwares. Refer to the documentation to see how to do this here .
P.S: You should tell me what you tried and what did not work instead of just saying it did not work. There is no information to go ahead with to help you. Please give us more information such as screenshots to help us understand. If its the same as the original question, at least tell us that.
