Hello , so I have a output in 'colproceed' which is a (nx1) matrix having output as below: "sct_Star"
"sct_Star1"
"sct_Star2"
"sct_Star3"
"sct_Star5"
"sct_Star4"
"sct_Star6"
------- ----- and so on.
When I try to save this file using save function as below : save('C:\Users\K chetan\Desktop\marsis_DAta\work/file.csv','colproceed');
the file saved in excel sheet has some other values which are ascii equivalents by default I guess so.How can I get the same outputs saved as in matlab results?
Thank you

save
is used to save to a .mat file or an ascii file. If you want to save to an excel spreadsheet I would suggest to use
xlswrite
instead. Alternatively just save to a .mat file, but it depends if you want the results to be used in future in Matlab or to be read externally in the spreadsheet.
