Error using smimport_implementation
Show older comments
I am trying to import an example model in simulink. The command line is:
smimport('sm_robot');
However, this error is returned:
Error using smimport_implementation Workspace for block diagram 'sm_robot' was not loaded because an error occurred while loading the MATLAB-file 'C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2016a\toolbox\physmod\sm\smdemos\import\robot\sm_robot_DataFile.m'.
I searched, and the sm_robot_DataFile.m is no where to be found.
Is there a fresh download available or maybe I am not importing correctly?
Thanks in advance.

Fixed! Search "matlab cd syntax" on google, it'll walk you through it.

- create another new folder out of matlab application,
- move all the cad files into the new folder,
- then use 'cd' to change the path into that folder.
- do the 'smimport' again.
It works for me.
